22.06.2020: COVID-19 update
We are planning to reopen on the 4th July! It’ been a long three months with much uncertainty but we are happy to announce that we plan to reopen the restaurant to diners on Saturday 4th July, as we enter phase 3 of the Government’s plan to ease lockdown measures.
As you would expect, things may be a little different to what you remember! We have implemented additional safety measures across the restaurant to ensure a safe environment for our staff and customers. Please familiarise yourself with these before visiting our restaurant (measures may change depending on further advice and guidance from the Government):
- Booking is essential and limited to a maximum of 6 people
- Seating capacity has been reduced to 60% and tables spaced by at least 1metre
- Table service only – you will not be able to order drinks at the bar
- Reduced contact between staff and customers
- Disposable menu or if possible customers will be encouraged to use the online menu
- Additional cleaning procedures across the restaurant
- No live entertainment until further notice
- Hand sanitiser stations at the entrance and outside the toilets
- One-in, one-out on all restrooms
We thank you in advance for helping us to keep our restaurant a safe environment for staff and customers and we also thank you for your patience whilst we all adapt to the new processes.
We also welcome our customers taking their own precautions so, if you want to wear a face mask that’s ok. If you’d prefer to clean down your table/seating area before use that’s fine too. Our staff will be happy to assist so please don’t hesitate to ask.
We look forward to seeing people in the restaurant again!

We are now open for takeaway! Thank you so much for your patience and constant messages of support throughout lockdown. There’s a long way to go until we can reopen for diners but we are super happy to be reopening for takeaway orders only for now. You will be able to order for delivery or collection from Thursday through to Sunday from 5pm-9pm. Our takeaway menu is now available to view on our website. Click here.
We will deliver free of charge within a 3 mile radius for orders over £25. Collection orders get 20% off food bill. Pre-order are being taken throughout the week so get in touch to secure your preferred delivery and collection times. Deliveries are also still available through Uber Eats.
21.03.2020: COVID-19 update
If you haven’t already heard, last night was be our last night for a little while. We don’t want to close our doors but it’s time to take a step back to protect you and your families. Your support over the last few years, particularly the last couple of weeks, has been amazing and we can’t thank you enough.
Many of you have been asking about our upcoming events. Unfortunately, the news yesterday evening means that all future events must be cancelled. We had already confirmed the cancellation of our Mother’s Day activities and Soul and Motown night but this now extends to our ABBA Tribute nights and our Easter Peter Rabbit event.
Please give us the opportunity to reassure you that our customers will not be out of pocket. We need a couple of days to manage our closure and work through our existing bookings. We will be proactively contacting anyone who has a booking but, in the meantime, if you feel you need to contact us, you will still be able to do so on the restaurant number 0161 456 6670 or via email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will be keeping in touch with updates through our social media so don’t go anywhere – keep following us. We will be back as soon as we are given the go ahead to reopen. So, stay healthy, stay safe and stay in touch!

17.03.2020: COVID-19 update
We feel now is the time that we need to make some changes to our operations in order to safeguard our staff and our customers. We’ve already put in place additional cleaning and hygiene procedures to make sure that the environment is as safe as it can be. However, due to escalated measures now introduced by the Government we’ve made the decision to scale back all our planned events until the end of the month.
Just to be clear we are not closing at the moment and will continue to operate our normal opening hours at this stage. We are listening to the official guidance and will make further adjustments in the future if necessary.
We understand that all our customers will be taking different levels of precautions and if you have to cancel bookings or make changes we are not going to be offended – please just let us know if you can.
For now, we continue to welcome all our customers, as long as they are feeling healthy and well. Going forward we are reducing our capacity by nearly 50% to allow extra space between tables. We have cancelled any live music events or unnecessary activities until the end of the month.
Unfortunately, that means our Soul & Motown night on Friday 27th March will have to be postponed until further notice. As it currently stands Mother’s Day (Sunday 22nd March) will continue as planned but we’ve made the decision to cancel all the activities including the character appearance, face painting and magician. If you had previously booked a table for Mother’s Day, can we ask that you contact us as soon as possible if you are now unable to attend.
In the meantime, if we can assist the local community with anything please get in touch. We can only get through this if we stick together and help each other out. We want to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers and staff for their continued support and we will continue to ride this storm and return to normal as soon as it is safe to do so.
